| HISTORY |
Busay Elementary School was opened in a 5,005 sq.m. lot (more or less) donated by
Mr. Buenaventura Pigon. The school site was acquired through sale and donation on July
19, 1972and it came into a full operation in 1972. At first it was a satellite school of
Barayong E/S and only on 2003, when the first batch of grade six graduated.
The school is located in the eastern portion, which is more or less five kilometers
away from Ligao City proper and the Division Office. It has one (1) single kindergarten
class and seven (7) single grade classes for grades one to six with 8 teaching staff and a
principal.
At present, the school continues to improve the facilities in order to cater to its
pupil-clientele taking its vision and mission as its primordial concern. Through the
collaborative effort of the school head, teachers and civic-spirited parents together with the
support of local officials, it is hoped that quest for Quality Education envisioned by the
Department of Education will be realized.
